Irish end poll count
THE LAST result in the Irish general election was declared after a 10-day count. Fianna Fail's Ben Briscoe was elected to the fourth seat in Dublin South Central. Mr Briscoe originally won the seat by nine votes, but a recount was ordered at the request of Democratic Left's Eric Byrne.
