Japan Food and Culture Exhibition opens

Yasuhiko Hayashi performing the Yachi Bugaku dance, an ancient Japanese spectacle handed down from father to son for more than 1,000 years. It marked the opening yesterday of the week-long Japan Food and Culture Exhibition, at the Yaohan Plaza in Colindale, north-west London.
