Law Update: First woman joins board

Diana Courtney, a partner in the London firm Denton Hall, has become the first woman to join the board of Britain's seventh-largest building society, the Bradford & Bingley. Ms Courtney, who specialises in commercial property, has been appointed a non-executive director.
