Law Update: On their own terms
Solicitors should be free to set their own terms of business when taking cases on a conditional fee basis, the Law Society's council decided last week. Conditional fees are expected to be introduced in the spring, initially for personal injury and insolvency actions and cases before the European Court of Human Rights.
