A LOYALIST terror group last night said it would continue its campaign of violence this year despite the Downing Street declaration.

In a statement last night, the outlawed Ulster Freedom Fighters said it was sceptical about the implications of the declaration, in spite of the assurance that there would be no change in the status of Northern Ireland without the consent of its people.

The organisation also warned that while what it called the 'pan-nationalist' campaign continued, then its violence would not stop.
