Man charged over street attack
A teenager was charged over an attack which left a young Asian man critically ill and another less seriously injured. Tunu Miah, 18, of Camden, north London, was in surgery for six hours at the Royal London Hospital, east London, after he was stabbed in the chest.
Mr Miah and Said Uddin, 26, were attacked in Poplar, east London. Steven Martin, 19, of Rotherhithe, south-east London, was charged with causing actual bodily harm to Mr Uddin and affray. Two other youths were released on police bail.
