A MAN was jailed for life yesterday for murdering his millionaire business partner whose body has never been found.

Colin James, 50, of Highwood Hill, north London, was found guilty at Reading Crown Court of murdering David Martin, 49, of Naphill, Buckinghamshire, and disposing of his body.

James had denied killing Mr Martin, who made his fortune developing audio equipment for famous bands such as Pink Floyd.

Later they were partners in a helicopter business.

The court heard that Mr Martin was last seen at his pounds 360,000 home in December 1992. Blood found in Mr Martin's garage was matched to him and bloody footprints matched a pair of James's shoes.
