Man killed in stolen car crash

A man, aged 21, died when the stolen car he was driving crashed in Bristol. Police were following the car, but said that they had abandoned pursuit because of the reckless way it was being driven. A passenger, aged 17, was treated in hospital.

In Cheshire, three people were killed when a Land-Rover crashed into a tree at Tarporley. They were named as Liam Brighton, 26, Justine Carter, 17, and Julie Armstrong, 18, all from Tarporley.
