Man shot by IRA

IRA gunmen disguised as racing cyclists shot and killed a former member of the Ulster Defence Regiment in Lurgan, Co Armagh. He was named as John Lynas. Earlier, the security forces recovered a body which had been dumped near the border in Co Tyrone. The IRA said that Joseph Mulhern, 23, was a police informer.
