Manslaughter plea

Brian Ferrill, 62, a businessman and RAF Auxiliary officer, of St Athan, South Glamorgan, who shot his wife while cleaning his gun, admitted manslaughter at Cardiff Crown Court. He was released on bail to await sentence.
