DOMINIC McGlinchey, former leader of the terrorist INLA, was shot in the head and hand near Dundalk, in the Irish Republic. His wounds are not believed to be fatal. Two men in a car opened fire on McGlinchey, 39, who was freed recently from a 10-year jail sentence and was one of Ireland's most wanted men in the 1980s.
