Monk's opera vow

The Bishop of Portsmouth, Timothy Bavin, 60, is giving away all his worldly possessions, except his opera records, so he can become a monk. The order at Alton Abbey in Hampshire demands he takes a vow of poverty, but he is being allowed to donate his records to the abbey library, where he will have access to them.
