Murder charge

Michael Brookes, of Peterborough, will appear before magistrates in Derby this morning charged with the murder in April 1978 of 16-year-old Lynn Siddons. She was found stabbed and strangled by the Trent and Mersey Canal in the Sinfin area of Derby.
