A FRESH inquiry was launched yesterday into the head teacher who refused to let her pupils see Romeo and Juliet, because she thought it too heterosexual. Leaders at Hackney council, east London, are investigating the relationship between the teacher, Jane Brown, and a former chairman of the school governors with whom she shares a house. They are looking at whether there was a conflict of interests when Ms Brown was appointed head of Kingsmead primary school.
