Officer ends fight
Wyn Jones, 50, an assistant commissioner of the Metropolitan Police, has decided to end his fight against dismissal for abuse of expenses and misuse of police vehicles. Last week, he failed to win judicial review of a tribunal which found him guilty of disciplinary offences.
