Officer jailed
A court-martial in Aldershot, Hampshire, ordered that Major Donald Farquharson of the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards be jailed for 18 months and dismissed from the Army, after he was found guilty of stealing thousands of pounds from foreign arms-buyers he escorted while on secondment to the Ministry of Defence.
