Officers cleared of pub assault
Two police constables accused of breaking a man's arm in a pub fight at Wolverhampton were cleared after a four-day trial at Stafford Crown Court. John Milliken, 32, of Glasgow, and Thomas McGrath, 45, of Paisley, were cleared of causing grievous bodily harm with intent to 29-year-old Kevin McAlyne; causing grievous bodily harm; and assault.
