DISABLED PEOPLE: The Government will begin talks 'as soon as possible' on plans to help disabled people, the Prime Minister said. Michael Forsyth, an employment minister, said his department had instructed Parliamentary Counsel to draw up amendments to the Civil Rights (Disabled Persons) Bill which were passed to backbench MPs.
