Pension plan 'hits poorest'
Nearly a fifth of Britain's poorest men die before receiving their state pension and extending the working age will affect them disproportionately, an MP has warned.
Around 19 per cent die before they reach 65, compared with just 7 per cent of men from the highest social group, according to the former Labour pensions minister Malcolm Wicks.
