ll good things come to an end, and it seems the "Brown bounce" in the opinion polls is doing just that. Last month, in the ComRes survey for The Independent, the Tories were just one point ahead. But in a new poll, the Tory lead is up to five points. The figures are: Tories 39 per cent (up two points on last month), Labour 34 per cent (down two), Liberal Democrats 16 per cent (down one point), others 11 per cent (up one).
