RAF pilot dies in sea crash
A Royal Air Force pilot was killed yesterday when the Buccaneer bomber he was flying crashed into the North Sea, 30 miles off the Fife coast.
Flt Lt James Henderson, 28, married, of 208 Squadron based at RAF Lossiemouth, was a Gulf war veteran. An extensive air and sea search was continuing last night for the Buccaneer's navigator. The crash happened at about 11am when the aircraft was on a training exercise, flying 200ft (61m) above sea level.
