Rape victim not abducted
A man who claimed that he was abducted from a London Underground train and raped by three armed men has told police he went to Hampstead Heath, the scene of the assault, of his own accord.
The 19-year-old hairdressing student originally claimed that the men, carrying a knife and a gun, snatched him from a tube train in the rush-hour. Police still believe that he was subjected to a serious sexual assault, but have said that he lied about the abduction.
