Rhys leaves hospital

RHYS DANIELS, three, of Epping, Essex, who underwent a second bone marrow transplant five weeks ago to combat the genetic disorder Batten's disease, was discharged from Bristol Children's Hospital. It will be several weeks before it is known if the transplant has been successful. No child with the disease has survived beyond eight.
