One of two Welsh pharmacists operating schemes to help patients cut pounds off their prescription charges will today hear what action is to be taken against him by his local health commission. Allan Sharpe, of Newbridge, Gwent, has since the miners' strike in 1984 been privately dispensing some NHS prescriptions more cheaply than the prevailing charge.
