Queen Victoria's dental instruments sold for pounds 15,400 at Christie's in London. The dental kit - bought by the Dr Samuel D Harris National Museum of Dentistry in Baltimore, USA - was made in London in 1846 for the Queen's dentist, Sir Edwin Saunders, and used exclusively on the royal teeth.
