Shotguns stolen

Thieves stole 89 double-barrelled shotguns, worth pounds 18,000, from a lorry as the driver slept in a lay-by on the A40 between Oxford and Witney. Thames Valley Police appealed for witnesses and said: 'They're sporting guns, but sawn off - they're what all your bank robbers use.'
