Six remanded in burnt girl case

Six people, including two boys aged 16 and 17, were remanded in custody yesterday charged with the kidnapping and attempted murder of Suzanne Capper, 16.

Suzanne was found naked and badly burnt on a road in Stockport on Monday morning.

The accused adults, from the Moston area of Manchester, are Glynn Powell, 28, Jeffrey Leigh, 26, Mr Powell's wife Jeanne, 25, and Bernadette McNeilly, 23.
