A couple who complained that sound equipment ruined their view at a concert by the rock group The Cure at Birmingham's National Exhbition Centre in 1992 lost their claim against the concert promoter, Harvey Goldsmith, for the return of their ticket money plus 200 damages. The Central London County Court said they should have complained on the night, not the next day.
