Strangeways rioter caught

ALAN LORD, 31, a prisoner who escaped during the Strangeways prison riot trial, was recaptured in Salford. He was among five prisoners who broke out of cells at Manchester Crown Court on 17 February while being tried with seven others for offences during the 1990 riot. In his absence Lord was sentenced to 10 years.
