`Tagged' man jailed
Britain's first electronically "tagged" criminal was jailed for six months after magistrates at King's Lynn, Norfolk, were told he broke his curfew 26 times between 31 July and 25 August. Clive Barratt, 29, had been ordered to stay in his home between 8am and 8pm daily for three months after being convicted of shoplifting.
