Teacher's award

Jenne Davies, 46, the teacher whose sacking for failing to report a boarder who stayed out overnight triggered a pupils' protest at the Royal School, Bath, last June, has been awarded an 'undisclosed settlement' by the school governors, forestalling an industrial tribunal for unfair dismissal.
