Tests clear killer

DNA tests have proved that Alan Conner, 32, who hanged himself after writing a suicide note admitting the murder of Sandra Parkinson, a chambermaid, in Devon, was not responsible for a series of unsolved sex crimes in South Yorkshire, police said.
