The 14th Congress of the European Society of Cardiology in Barcelona: Pipes nearly as dangerous as cigarettes

A large study from Norway which has followed middle-aged men for 14 years has found that pipe-smoking is nearly as dangerous to health as cigarette smoking. This evidence from a project involving 44,000 men runs against results from earlier British and American studies.
