Hugo Williams, journalist and travel writer was born in Windsor in 1942 and grew up in Sussex. He is film critic for Harpers & Queen and writes the 'Freelance' column in the TLS. His previous collections include Writing Home, Selected Poems and Self-Portrait With A Slide, all published by Oxford University Press.
