A Highland seer, Swein Macdonald, yesterday spoke of 'the curse of second sight' when his prediction of a tanker disaster in Shetland waters this year came true.

The 61-year-old crofter stonemason from Kincardine, Sutherland, warned of a 'major spill' off Shetland in a Sunday newspaper interview and in a broadcast on Radio Shetland after Christmas. Yesterday, he said there would be a second disaster in a few months when a valve in the sunken wreckage would burst.
