Thieves ring home

Thieves used a car telephone to let the owner know they had stolen his vehicle. Jim Brown, of Coventry, answered his home telephone at 4am and was asked: 'Do you own a Land Rover Discovery?' Thinking it was the police, Mr Brown said yes, only to be told 'Not any more you don't, we've just nicked it'.
