Five people died in a motorway crash in the early hours of this morning, an ambulance spokesman said.
The collision between two cars happened on the eastbound carriageway of the M4, between junctions 25A and 25, in the Newport area of South Wales.
A spokesman for the Welsh Ambulance Service said they were alerted at 3.15am and had an ambulance there within five minutes.
The spokesman said three young men from one car were pronounced dead at the scene along with a couple in another car.
