A performer with the Hal-an-Tow pageant takes part in a performance as part of the Helston Flora Day celebrations on May 8, 2012 in Helston, England.
Couples take part in a series of dances throughout the day which go all over the town and even in and out of private houses and shops.
The highlight is the midday dance which was traditionally the dance of the gentry in the town and is why men still wear top hats and tails while the women dance in their finest dresses.
