Tourist shot in Thailand

ABritish tourist was recovering in hospital after being shot in Thailand.

Barry Gurnhill, 56, of Leicester, and his wife Jill, 48, were attacked by muggers on Samui island. Ten shots were fired when Mr Gurnhill resisted, one of which broke his leg. Mrs Gurnhill was also taken to hospital suffering from bruising and shock.
