More than 1,200 toy husky dogs were destroyed after trading standards officers intercepted a consignment from Korea. The toys were considered potentially dangerous as their hair came out too easily and could have choked children.

Steve Greenfield, Suffolk trading standards officer, said: 'We are always on the look-out for unsuitable toys entering the country at Felixstowe Docks.'
