Witness appeal on boy's murder

Police investigating the murder of Sean Williams, eight, who was killed yards from his home on Monday, were still questioning a man last night and have appealed for witnesses who were in the Kitchener Road area of East Finchley, north London, between 5.30 and 5.55pm.

Speaking at a press conference, his mother, Lynn, told how she had seen Sean outside the family pub, George's, 15 minutes before his body was found. 'Sean was in the back of the car park and waved to me - and all this happened at quarter to six. Fifteen minutes to lose your life,' she said.
