Wool coats for lambs

Two pedigree Suffolk lambs wearing new coats at Great Stent Farm, near Northiam, East Sussex. The felted wool coats, which protect sick lambs from the cold, are better than plastic ones because do not upset the ewe's acceptance of the lamb. They can be used for several lambs or left to break up naturally as the lamb grows.
