Veal flight crew failed to check altitude

A cargo plane which crashed killing five men was flying too low, an inquest heard. The Algerian crew had not checked their altitude as they approached Coventry airport in December 1994. Fatique had also been a factor after the crew had workedover the maximum that day ferrying live veal calves to Amsterdam.
