THE BBC has filmed a couple enjoying viagra-fuelled sex as part of a BBC television documentary.

Self-styled sex therapist and leader of the Sexual Freedom Coalition, Tuppy Owens, 53, was recorded making love with partner Anthony for BBC 2's Modern Times series to be shown in November.

Morality campaigners are incensed by the the BBC's decision to pay Miss Owens, organiser of the annual Sex Maniacs' Ball, for her work as a consultant .

Veteran TV clean-up campaigner Mrs Mary Whitehouse said: "I really think someone has gone out of their mind. It is incredible stuff really."

Miss Owen suggested that the scenes were shot but programme makers have not yet decided to include them in the documentary, to be screened in November, on British attitudes to sex.

But Miss Owens said: "Obviously I think that most people should find out what is true about sex rather than the nonsense printed in the papers and put on television about sex."
