Squeamish types should look away now.
One man has earned himself a place in this year’s Guinness Book of World Records by doing chin-ups with only the aid of his little fingers.
Maibam Itomba Meitei from Manipur, India wowed onlookers when he managed to do 16 pulls up in 30 seconds.
The 26-year-old, who weighs 112 pounds (51kg), was required to start off in the dead hang position with his little fingers holding onto two hooks and nothing under his feet before doing the pull-ups.
Each time he had to raise his chin above the bar and then fully extend his arms when lowering himself down.
He has spent 14 years perfecting his pinky pull-up technique but he has also competed as a professional weight lifter (using all of his fingers).
Meitei was first inspired to take part in the Guinness Worlds Records when he saw a television programme featuring previous record holders competing.Reuse content
