Barack Obama bids farewell to Tanzania as Africa trip comes to an end
Barack Obama, the US President, bade farewell to Tanzania, wrapping up his three-country tour of Africa with a game of "Soccket ball" in Dar-es-Salaam. The hi-tech ball, which contains a battery, stores up enough energy during play to power a phone or small lamp.
Mr Obama also laid a wreath for victims of the 1998 bombing at the US Embassy in Tanzania, with the former President George W Bush, who by chance was in Tanzania for a conference on women's roles in Africa.
