Algiers murder

Mohamed Boukhobza, 52, head of Algeria's National Institute for Golbal Strategic Studies, was murdered in his apartment while other members of his family were tied up and gagged, Reuter reports from Algiers. Three months earlier his predecessor, Djilali Liabes, met a similar fate. The Islamic Salvation Front was blamed for his death.
