Two men have died after shooting each other following a road-rage fulled argument, Michigan police have reported.

Authorities confirmed 43-year-old James Pullman and 56-year-old Robert Taylor died on Wednesday evening following an altercation at the Wonder Wash Car Wash In Ionia, according to the Grand Rapids Press.

Police were called to reports of shots being fired at 7pm on Wednesday. After arriving on the scene , officers discovered two men with gun shot wounds.

Initial investigations into the incident suggest both men had driven into the parking area of the car wash following a road rage incident. Both men, who held permits to carry concealed weapons, exited their vehicles shot at each other with hand guns.

“One was laying in between the cars and another was laying on the other side of the car,” witness Allen Daggett told Fox 47.

He said people emerged from the nearby laundromat and unsuccessfully attempted to resuscitate one of the men.

Both men were pronounced dead after reaching the Sparrow Ionia Hospital. The investigation continues.
