Obama follows in JFK's footsteps to Puerto Rico

US President Barack Obama paying for lunch at Kasalta bakery during a visit to San Juan, capital of Puerto Rico, yesterday.

The visit marks the first by a US president to the island territory since John F Kennedy's visit in 1961. The visit fulfilled a campaign pledge made in 2008. Puerto Ricans are US citizens.
