People are celebrating after the US Supreme court ruled that same-same couples have the right to marry.

The US joins 20 countries across the world in legalising marriage for same-sex couples. People celebrated at the capital and across the states.

And set up flags at New York City Hall building.

People gathered in San Francisco.

People said they couldn’t wait to tell their loved ones about the landmark decision.

And others reminded that the fight for same-sex marriage is far from over.
